Kitchen Remodel And Renovation My husband and I waited for years to redo our kitchen and went to a lot of different kitchen stores in our search. From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted at The Kitchen Place, I knew we found the right place. Our designer Sue was fabulous, she did a floor plan that works amazing and I never would have thought of on my own. She took all of our calls and questions and even helped when I requested a small change mid-install. Sue was there constantly to check on things and make sure everything ran smoothly. Sue gave us a schedule of what would be done each day and what trades would be coming in. The schedule did not waiver and every trade was on time and very personable. One of the most important things - the quoted price was the exact price we paid. We were never hit with extra's. We love our kitchen and would send anyone who asked to The Kitchen Place!

I had my kitchen redone by The Kitchen Place. They did an excellent job. Everything was on schedule. Sometimes ahead of schedule. If something was unexpected, the additional charges were reasonable and discussed in advance. Professional throughout the process. Helpful in the decision making process. We loved their design. I am incredibly happy with my experience at The Kitchen Place. I went to a few different places to research and they were hands down the clear winner. The personalized touch I received from Brian, David and his team shone through in everything they did. From beginning to end, my kitchen remodel was handled with professionalism and care. We had a backsplash installed in our kitchen and we are beyond happy with the results. The team worked with us, and our busy schedule, to have the job completed on a fair time line and for good value. We worked with Jacquelyn in the show room to choose our tile/grouting. We were able to easily bring our concept to life based on the inspiration photos we provided. Jacquelyn was thorough, as she dropped in a few times while the job was being completed, to make sure we were 100% satisfied. She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we may have had throughout the process. Dave and Brian (the father son duo) came in to remove and replace our light valance on our cabinets before and after the work was done. They were both kind and professional, and went the extra mile to make sure our valance was perfect when being reinstalled. James and Liam did an amazing job on the tile work itself. They had to make a lot of complicated cuts to accommodate our kitchen layout, but they made it look seamless. We were happy that they were able to cut the tiles around our crown moulding, rather than having to make cuts in the moulding itself. They were both professional and thorough and kept our kitchen clean throughout the process. Overall our experience with The Kitchen Place was beyond our expectations. We are proud to show off the beautiful new detail in our kitchen.

We have an older home and had the kitchen completely renovated! My husband also wanted a coffee bar and pantry installed on our other bare wall. Brian and The Kitchen Place renovated our kitchen 8 years ago. We were extremely satisfied with the final product then and are still happy 8 years later. His team worked with us to ensure we got a Kitchen that we love cooking in to this day. Any hiccups along the way to completion were addressed to our complete satisfaction and his staff was always pleasant and accommodating. However, I am writing this review 8 years later to highlight the exemplary follow-up service we have received. Over the intervening years a few issues have come up, such as a sticky drawer slide, malfunctioning hinges and even a broken cupboard door (my fault). Brian has been quick to respond and has even come to the house to do the repair himself at no charge. Most recently, a stripped thread on a cupboard door handle was solved with a five minute visit. Brian and The Kitchen Place take customer satisfaction seriously and don't put an expiry date on it.

We hired the Kitchen Place after visitng five other show rooms. We immediately met the Binns family and felt very comfortable expressing our wants and needs of a kitchen reno. The Kitchen Place completed two bathroom cabinet and three bathroom countertop replacements. The staff were friendly and completed the work within the timeframe. Darci was great to work with and provided suggestions and ideas for faucets and cabinetry. Would recommend using the services of The Kitchen Place.

We had an outdated and very tacky kitchen that we wanted to replace. I contacted several companies and they either couldn't do everything we wanted or they quoted way too much. I contacted David from Kitchen Place. He was very prompt to respond. He came up with some great design ideas based on our photos and measurements, and helped us choose our cabinets and materials. In the end it was exactly what we wanted. It looks amazing! During the installation, David's team were very friendly and worked non-stop. They cleaned up every day which made living through a renovation much easier. If there were any issues he communicated it with us and would provide alternate options. The Kitchen Place is a one stop place for custom renovations! I highly recommend and would hire them again.

Dave, Brian, and Barb and team of contractors did a superb job on redoing completely our ensuite washroom! We have had other various jobs done by others but the Kitchen Place outshines them all! The design went beyond our expectations! The contractors were the best in the business. And Dave and Brian provided valuable insights and always kept us in the know. We originally bought our cabinets from the Kitchen Place over 20 years ago and wanted to update them by having them painted and adding crown moulding and trim for a new lighting system. We went back to the Kitchen Place hoping they could answer some questions and we were pleasantly pleased with help and results we received. Big thanks to the team for pulling it together, you matched the paint colour perfectly and nailed the lighting system that allowed for a 1” trim. We are over the moon with outcome. I’ve attached pics showing the lights held in place neatly by adhesive 4” cable ties whIch I put up myself. It was easy, just make sure you sand the surface first. We are truly happy ????

They did an amazing job with my kitchen in 2018, but it's their customer service before, during and after the project that I am most impressed with. Most companies will just ignore you after the job is done. I had some paint chipping issues with some door fronts after one year and David contacted the cabinet maker to resolve it! I am still in love with my kitchen and still get lots of compliments to this day. Thank you Kitchen Place!!

DO NOT PURCHASE A KITCHEN FROM THE KITCHEN PLACE!!! If I could give them zero stars I would! The contractor that they had do my job installed the tiles incorrectly and all of the tiles came loose after only 3 months. The work was clearly covered under warranty but the owner (Brian) did not care to take steps to get the problem rectified in a timely manner. I had to fight for 8 months to finally get it completed. Customer service was non existent. I had to absorb hundreds of dollars in out of pocket expenses due to this problem and he offered no compensation at all. In fact he actually tried to charge me for work and product that was supposed to have been covered in the original contract but was never completed. If you decide to purchase a kitchen from here you'd better hope that everything goes smoothly because you will have to fight them every step of the way if it doesn't.

Kitchen Remodel and Renovation My husband and I waited for years to redo our kitchen and went to a lot of different kitchen stores in our search. From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted at The Kitchen Place, I knew we found the right place. Our designer Sue was fabulous, she did a floor plan that works amazing and I never would have thought of on my own. She took all of our calls and questions and even helped when I requested a small change mid-install. Sue was there constantly to check on things and make sure everything ran smoothly. Sue gave us a schedule of what would be done each day and what trades would be coming in. The schedule did not waiver and every trade was on time and very personable. They even offered to help set us up with an altermate kitchen in the basement. Barb was present at the job site at the start of each work day to ensure there were no issues and to ensure workers knew what the work was. Workers were tidy and very personable. Barb responded quickly to any questions, and I had many, and it didn't phase her in the least when we made some mid-job changes to add pot lighting. I had the kitchen place re-do my kitchen and I am quite pleased with it. I had a few hiccups, but they were resolved eventually. The people were quite friendly and listened to what I wanted for the design of it. It turned out nice and many thanks to my designer Barb for helping with everything.

I feel like I didn't get the kitchen I wanted. I got what they wanted to give me. Talked with designer he recommended 1 1/4 " granite counter top to avoid edge seem. I agreed, counter top showed up and was installed 3/4" questioned installers. They phoned their company and was to that's what was ordered. Was told by kitchen place only place you'll notice it is around the sink. 3 attempts at built in microwave cabinet to fit trim kit properly. Each new cabinet had to be ordered from custom builder in Winnipeg. Had wall switches and outlets relocated and drywall repaired when asked when the painter was coming I was told "we never quoted you a painter or paint" did they think I was leaving the wall repairs and ceiling repairs unfinished? This company has been in business for 35 years! The flooring I picked out was discontinued within 3 days of choosing it (they called me in to look at new samples that had just came in) then I was told to "go somewhere else and get the flooring on my own" I was also told to "get my own electrician" as that was not part of the qoute. The measurements the kitchen place gave my electrician for the over island lights were wrong so when the island was installed the lights were not centred over the stove (off by 6") again I was told "you can barely notice it" I NOTICE IT. The backslash was done horribly (tile corners sticking out and uneven grout lines) it had to be done over (many tiles had to cut out and replaced) and it was done by the same guy that did the poor quality job in the first place. Who is not a tradesman but a retired TTC driver as it turns out. And then when I asked about the under Cabinet lighting that I had talked to the designer about on multiple occasions I got "Oh we never quoted you the lighting or the back splash tiles, just the back splash install". All in all this company took 6 months to complete this nightmare but they were not shy about asking for money. I chose them because they had been in business for 35 years and the reviews I could find were good. I should have known right off the hop when I told them I was bridging my mortgage for 2 weeks so they could go in and demo the kitchen and get a jump on it before I moved in and they never showed up until a month later.
